The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY July 20
Outside my window...Sunshine, oh! Glorious Sunshine!

I am thinking...how to get all the 'stuff' done so there is time to play!

I am thankful for... God's faithfulness to all generations.

From the kitchen... Cherries and Vegetables. Lots of salad this week!

I am praying... for woman friends. That we could be the support that our husbands need in these lean economic times. Support, not whining, nagging, complaining raindrops.

I am creating... a lifetime of memories, trying to choose how I spend my time wisely.

I am going... to my cousins to plan and kids to swim.

I am reading... Ephesians... to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge...

I am hoping... for a quiet week. ( I realize I need to do more than hope for that. I am TRYING to MAKE a quiet week.)

I am hearing... giggling, water running, and a trike, going round and round...

Around the house... everyone is busy. Plans being carried out, life is at a very active time.

One of my favorite things... reminded again this weekend... ice cream and have learned that it is better when enjoyed occasionally.

A few plans for the rest of the week: pick berries, a canning class. Time at the water, in the sun and in the yard - with those I love.
